"Misery" A bit long cause you guys don't like stories in 2 parts :P
“What the fuck do I do with this God forsaken life”, screamed Anna
She had been going round and round in circles, trying to find some loophole but she had been let down. There wasn’t anything she could do, even after all her hard work. Sitting down on the edge of her bed, she furiously rummaged through her bag, looking for her cigarettes. She had given up smoking months ago but she still kept a pack in her bag, it assured her that it was in her reach, she could do but she had made up her mind to stop.
Now she didn’t give a damn about anything. She lit of the cigarette and inhaled deeply; the sharp smell of it setting down in her body, tearing through her like a powerful orgasm, turning her mind blank. After her first cigarette, when she had calmed down fairly, Anna picked up her cell phone and called her old boyfriend. She had broken things up with him, on a good mutual level to focus on herself and he had been supportive. But now…. She needed him badly.
“David!”
“Anna…what’s wrong?” said David worried.
“Can we meet up???”
“Sure, I can meet you at the Log…” said David.
“See you in a few minutes then, said Anna before she added, “I love you.”
Hanging up, Anna quickly took off her clothes, and marched straight into the bathroom. After a quick shower, she put on a pale pink shirt and shorts. She was in a mood tonight, and she was going to break all the rules she had made up, just for the sake of a better life, the Idea of a better life.
Growing furious, she hurried out, with her bag and a fresh cigarette in her hand. She reached the Log in ten minutes, and saw David standing against a tree, smoking. Breathing a sigh of relief, Anna hurried towards him and wrapped her arms around his waist, face pressed against his back. Surprised by the sudden show of affection, he recovered quickly, threw his cigarette away and gave her a hug back.
Pulling him by the arm, Anna led him to a chunk of wood that sat next to the willow tree. They sat down in silence for a few minutes before Anna turned towards David and said, “It happened again! I don’t know what to do, I swear!!”
David handed her a small pack, which looked like a small piece of mashed clay. Anna took it and breathed heavily, finally feeling alive.
It was an hour later when Anna opened the front door of her apartment wide open, letting David walk in. It had been a while since he had been to her place, longer still since they had both been alone in her place. It didn’t take much out of them to tear at each others clothes and have their way with each other. David hadn’t been with anyone since Anna broke up with him, not because he couldn’t, it was because he didn’t want to. Anna was coming back to life now, every touch, every tremor made her forget what had happened with her.
“I missed you,” said David before he captured her warm lips between his, sucking on them, probing her mouth with his tongue. Anna was high; moaning she opened her mouth and let David’s tongue mate with hers. Sparks flew as his tongue touched the roof of her mouth, her lips and her tongue. Anna’s body started to move against David’s as he picked her up and placed her gently on the edge of a table, pulling down her shorts. Looking deeply into each others eyes, they both forgot everything; the awful night when they broke up, the last few months, everything. David plunged deep into her warm, silky body, making Anna tighten her grip around his neck, kissing him roughly, wanting the ride to climax.
They both woke up the next morning, in each others arms, smiling. Anna kissed David’s cheeks and woke him up with a steaming cup of coffee. They thought the tragedy was done, but sadly there was one last thing. Anna had just found out last night that she was pregnant. And even though she tried to have her unborn baby aborted, she couldn’t do it. David didn’t know about this, but that morning when she told him, he was furious.
His angry made him careless which caused him to cross the street carelessly and in this carelessness, he wasn’t careful enough to care for the car that was coming down the street. Anna was following David when she saw him get him by the car. She was with him when he bled to death on the street, and when the ambulance came and took his corpse away. She was taken to the hospital as well because she lost her baby; miscarriage.
Anna had broken up with David so she could focus on her life, make a career, do something. That night when she couldn’t hide it from David anymore she got back with him, thinking that it would be easier to tell him if she was with him. Things didn’t turn up quite the way she had wanted. Not only did she lose the one man she loved but his child and herself. What a misery.
